Quick Select


  • Check to be sure that the MUTE button has not been depressed. To check, press MUTE on the remote control to restore volume.
  • Receiver may be tuned to the wrong entertainment component.
  • Verify receiver is set to the correct input source. If you have a VCR connected, you may be watching TV using a VCR with the VCR turned off. Turn VCR on.
  • Check to be sure that your connections are correct and are finger-tight.

 

Check that the coaxial cable is finger-tight. It may be loose or disconnected.

 

  • Cable connections are disconnected or loose. Reconnect the cables to be finger-tight.
  • Verify wires are not frayed and plugs are not bent or broken.
  • Check speaker balance settings on your television.

 

 
  • Audio levels on the external devices are not set relative to the set top volume level. For best Audio Quality, use the remote control to set the set top to approximately ¾ maximum volume level and then adjust the audio levels on the external devices.
