How do I connect my personal devices to my WiFi?

Locate your WiFi network name (SSID) and password on your router or Altice One.
Next, connect your device to the network by typing in your SSID and password. Make sure to keep your info private.
Having trouble connecting? Toggle your device WiFi setting off and on so the connection is refreshed.

My personal device still won't connect to the Internet. Help!

Turn your personal device off and on to help re-connect to your network, especially if only one device is impacted.
If multiple devices won't connect, turn off and unplug your modem and router for 30 seconds.
Have an Altice One? Press the diamond-shaped restart button, hold it for 10 seconds, and look for it to say GW Restarting. Didn't work? Try one more time.

I'm connected to WiFi, but it is slow. What can I do to fix it?

Get the best performance and speed by connecting to 5GHz. There are other options if you need broader coverage.
Connect your personal device to the WiFi router with an ethernet cable and run a speed test.

What are some of the ways I can protect myself online?

Use passwords that are unique and complex—at least 8 characters long, with a mixture of letters, numbers and special characters.
Shield your PC against malware and spyware with Panda Free Antivirus. It’s included with your Suddenlink Internet service.
Before entering personal info on any website, check that the address begins with HTTPS — the "s" is for "secure."

Where do I sign up for notifications if anything changes with my account or service?

Stay in the know by signing up for text alerts for service changes and appointment confirmations. Plus, go paperless to keep it all digital.
Check for local service outages, caused by severe weather or construction.
