Mac Mail: Set Up Your Suddenlink Email

  1. In Mac Mail, go to the Mail menu and click Preferences.
  2. Select Accounts then, depending on the version of OS X, click the + icon or Add Account to create a new account.
  3. Select Add Other Mail Account and click Continue.
  4. Enter your information and then select Next.
    • Full Name: The name that will be displayed when sending email
    • Email Address: Your Suddenlink email address
    • Password: The password for your Suddenlink email account
  5. Enter the Incoming Mail Server Info and then select Next.
    • Account Type: POP or IMAP
    • Incoming Mail Server: pop.suddenlink.net or imap.suddenlink.net
    • User Name: Your Suddenlink email address
    • Password: The password for your Suddenlink email account
    • Incoming Mail Port: POP-110 or IMAP-143
  6. Enter Outgoing Server Settings information and click Create.
    • SMTP Server: smtp.suddenlink.net
    • User Name: Your Suddenlink email address
    • Password: The password for your Suddenlink email account
    • Outgoing Mail Port: 25 or 587
