Mac Mail: Set Up Your Suddenlink Email

  1. In Mac Mail, go to the Mail menu and click "Preferences."
  2. Select "Accounts" then, depending on the version of OS X, click the "+" icon or "Add Account" to create a new account.
  3. Select "Add Other Mail Account" and click "Continue."
  4. Enter your information and then select "Next."
    • Full Name: The name that will be displayed when sending email
    • Email Address: Your Suddenlink email address
    • Password: The password for you Suddenlink email account
  5. Enter the Incoming Mail Server Info and then select "Next."
    • Account Type: POP
    • Mail Server: pop.suddenlink.net
    • User Name: Your Suddenlink email address
    • Password: The password for you Suddenlink email account
  6. Enter Outgoing Server Settings information and click "Create."
    • SMTP Server: smtp.suddenlink.net
    • User Name: Your Suddenlink email address
    • Password: The password for you Suddenlink email account
