CableCARD Self Installation
Step 1: Pick up a CableCARD at your Suddenlink local office. Tell the representative that you would like a CableCARD for self installation. The representative will add the serial number for your CableCARD to your Suddenlink account.
Step 2: When you arrive home insert the CableCARD into the cable card ready device and turn the device on. Then call Suddenlink Technical Support at 888-822-5151.

The device may require an update when the CableCARD is inserted. |
Step 3: A screen will display with information that you will need to gather for the representative. You will need to relay the CableCARD ID number and HOST ID number so that this information can be input in our system and your CableCARD can be activated.
Step 4: After a few moments you can begin enjoying your cable services via your new CableCARD.

If you are using your CableCARD in a TV, you may need to perform an auto-program of the TV. |
