This article provides steps on how to configure Windows Mail with the Suddenlink Server Information.

How to set up your Suddenlink Email on Windows Mail:

Step 1

  • Open Windows Mail or Outlook Express
  • Select Tools on the top Menu
  • Click on Accounts

Step 2

  • Click the Add button on the right

Step 3

  • Ensure Email Account is highlighted
  • Click Next

Step 4

  • Fill out display name with the name you would like associated with your Suddenlink email address
  • Click Next

Step 5

  • Ensure the top drop down box reads POP3
  • Type in the incoming mail server box
  • type in the outgoing mail server box

Step 6

  • Click the Outgoing server requires authentication box
  • Click Next

Step 7

  • Type your entire email address in the username field
  • Type in the password you selected for your Suddenlink email address in the Password field
  • Click Next

Step 8

  • Click Finish
