The following step with guide you through resetting or "power cycling" modem.
Unplug your modem from the power by pulling the power cord from the back of the modem. The modem is the one attached to the coax cable.
(If applicable) Unplug your router from the power by pulling the power cord from the back of the router. The router is the one attached to the modem via an ethernet cord.
Retry your internet connection by pulling up a browser window and trying to pull up webpages.
If still unable to pull up web pages, restart your computer and try again.
